Large heads, strong 40–70 cm stems and outstanding vase life — hybrid tea and garden roses cut fresh every week of the year on the Bogotá savanna.
Colombian roses are prized worldwide for one reason: altitude. On the Bogotá savanna, cool nights and intense equatorial light make the rose develop slowly, packing more petals into each head and more strength into each stem. The result is a rose with large, well-formed buds, deep saturated color and a vase life that consistently outperforms lowland production.
At Vibra we grow a curated assortment of premium hybrid tea varieties — reds such as Freedom and Explorer, whites such as Mondial and Playa Blanca, and vivid pinks such as Pink Floyd — together with selected garden varieties for event and wedding work. The assortment is reviewed every season; ask for the current variety list with photos.
Roses are cut at the precise opening point requested by each market, moved into pre-cooling within hours of harvest, and hydrated with a controlled solution before grading. Our graders check stem length, head size, opening point and foliage health at two control points before packing. Boxes travel refrigerated to Bogotá airport (BOG), keeping the 2–4 °C cold chain unbroken from bed to aircraft.
Stem lengths run from 40 to 70 cm depending on variety and program, packed in bunches of 25 stems in quarter, half or full boxes. We can pack by length, by color or in assorted rainbow boxes, with individual bunch sleeves and your own branding on request.
