Standard and spray carnations, solid and bicolor

The flower that built Colombian floriculture: long-lasting, hard-working carnations in a wide color assortment, cut fresh 52 weeks a year.

The flower that made Colombia famous

Carnations were the foundation of Colombian floriculture, and the savanna remains the best place in the world to grow them. At Vibra we grow both standard carnations — one large bloom per stem — and spray carnations with multiple flowers per stem, in a wide assortment of solid colors and bicolors that covers everything from classic red and white to novelty tones for bouquet work.

Modern carnations are nothing like the commodity flower of decades past: bred for head size, petal count and vase life, and grown with today's post-harvest care, they are among the longest-lasting products in the cooler — regularly exceeding two weeks in the vase.

Why buyers love carnations

Specifications

Stems are cut at 60–70 cm and packed in bunches of 25 for standards and by stem count for sprays. Cutting point is adjusted per market — tighter for long-haul sea or air programs, more open for nearby markets. Boxes travel at 2–4 °C with full traceability back to the bed.
